Progressive renovation of green spaces in the city should include differentiated management (Gilles Clément was the consulting landscaper to the city at the time). The town’s annual bloom should also give value to public spaces. We wanted to switch from enclosed flower beds to designs that include all aspects of the public space.

The goal of the project was to define a general theme for the bloom, then conduct a thorough analysis of the surroundings of the various bloom sites (around 370 flower beds and 1130 planters) in order to make color recommendations, in addition to shapes and heights for the floral designs.
